The BEST Sunglasses I've ever owned!!!!

Hands down, these are my favorite sunglasses of all time.  I love the shape, love the size, not since I was a teenager and wore big round tortoise Jackie O’ sunglasses have I had a pair that I loved as much as these.  I’ve had them for several years, I broke them, hubby repaired them many times, and on a whim today, I looked at the label, still faintly visible on the glasses, put it under a magnifying glass, and wouldn’t you know, they are on Amazon!  I put these puppies in my shopping cart so fast.  And they’e only $14.95 Prime.  Oh Amazon, how I love you, let me count the ways...

Summer's Biggest Trend, Culottes

What goes around comes around, culottes were popular when I was a teenager.  They were cute then, mine were shorter and I loved the look.  People Magazine says culottes are “in" for spring. But this is one look yours truly won’t be rockin’.

Just not feelin’ the love ladies, baggy, saggy, no thanks, I’ll stick to my fat girl skinny capris.  Women really buy into that term “skinny.”  It’s the greatest marketing ploy of the decade.  Everybody says they’re wearing their “skinny” jeans, even when they wear a plus size.

Michael Kors Puffer Vest

 

I bought this vest yesterday at TJ Maxx.  I really like it, even though it does make me look like Poppin Fresh.  Just what I need, more bulk!  

Now I’m having issues, it’s that darned cat, Boo-Boo Kitty!  She’s obsessed with it, I’m talking seriously obsessed.  We came home, hubby put it on my bed, still in the sack, and  kitty, who is the nosiest cat I’ve ever had, apparently got in the sack, pulled the vest out and came dragging it by the fur into the living room.  She was making wild big cat jungle noises, apparently thought she had scored a major kill and I was horrified.

I just bought it, I didn’t want her chewing it up.  I took it away from her, put it back in the sack, and hung it on my linen closet door in the bathroom.  Why didn’t I just hang it up, oh who knows why I do the things I do, I have no logical thought process.  Anyway,  I’m sound asleep this morning, and you guessed it, more jungle noises with her lunging at the sack!  I threw a pillow at her and she just gave me the stink eye and kept on lunging.

Am I going to have to keep the darned thing under lock and key?   Return it?  Nah, LC just needs to handle this, it’s his feline after all!

Chickies Cleavage Coverage, what's your take on this...

I never was a fan of showing cleavage, not even in the day.  My buddy V, say's I'm the only big boobed woman she knows who never showcased the girls.  But it just wasn't me, and now that i'm old(er) I certainly don't want to.  So I'm looking at my Real Simple Magazine, and they're talking about Chickie's Cleaveage Coverage.  It's kind of like a tube top, no extra straps, not a lot of fabric to make you hot in the summer, or extra bulk to make your mid-section look even bigger - this fastens to your bra, looks pretty good, doesn't it.

That's the pro, the con is the darned thing is $33 plus shipping.

I have the "As Seen on TV" Cami Secret, that I got at Walgreens, and it's so-so, since it doesn't wrap around, the sides of it tend to show if you have a low top on, and the lace doesn't go with everything.

Well drats!  Looks like I'm going to have to cough up $33 plus shipping, and of course I could use one in black, too.  And the colors look great as well.  It never ends, does it?
