What a powerful picture, and one that mothers of children who are leaving the nest can certainly relate to. Every time I look at this I get teary eyed, remembering when my sons left for college. Its a brutal reminder that our children are only loaned to us for a few short years, once they leave on this journey, even though they come home, it’s never the same.
That ship has long sailed for me but in some ways it seems like yesterday., Whew, I need to quit looking at this picture...
