It’s all about strawberries on The Dish this morning. Mother grew strawberries when I was a little girl, we would pick them in her big stainless steel mixing bowl that I still have in my kitchen and them she would stem them, feed the stems to the chickens, give them berries one quick slice and chop them with a slicer exactly like the one above.
