
They are so easy, too - I just put on a kettle of water, bring it to a low boil, add a splash of apple cider vinegar and salt, break an egg in a small cup, immerse it partly in the boiling water to set the egg white a bit, then slide it into the water, cover it and cook it for 2 minutes, 45 seconds. Yep, that's exactly how long it takes to get them to look like this. If you want them firm, 4 minutes does it.
Take out of the water with a slotted spoon, let them drain, plunk them on a piece of toast, a bit of salt and fresh ground pepper a dash of hot sauce... oh they are sublime....
