Malibu Country

I loved television in the 60's. Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, they were all the corny shows of my childhood,

So fast forward fifty years, and along comes Malibu Country. It's just an updated version of these corny old shows, well kinda. It premiered last week, and I was instantly a fan. What's not to love, Reba as a woman done wrong, Lily Tomlin as her old hippie mom, it was a breath of fresh air after all of the crappy television shows these days.

And since its 2012, you don't have to ever miss an episode, you can watch it online, you can record it to your DVR, and your life will be enriched.

Okay, maybe not enriched, but it will make your children and grandchildren roll their eyes, and I bet it will give you the giggles.

Here's a link to watch last weeks pilot episode.

I disagree with Barack Obama

"We know in our hearts that for the United States of America the best is yet to come." - Barack Obama  11.6.12

rip

Well, Mr. President, my heart doesn’t feel this way, I think the best of this country is behind us.  It’s sad to say, but we’re saddled with overwhelming debt, trillions of dollars of debt, one parent households, vulgarity that is beyond comprehension, nothing is sacred anymore.  Our politicians lie to us, streets are riddled with gangs, children raise themselves, unemployment is hideous, factories that were once prosperous are long gone now, the goods they produced outsourced to foreign countries, the environment, altered by man’s greed, gives us cancer.

The best is over, and has been for years now, in my opinion.  The America we’ve always known and loved has gone to hell in a hand basket.  Just look around you.  Do you really think America is going to be better?  Do you really

Faultless Premium Professional Spray Starch

Guaranteed not to flake, stick, or clog.  It’s my find of the week!

pro

I’ve always used starch, it’s a throwback from my childhood.  Mother always starched clothes, so I just followed down the yellow brick road.

There is nothing better to get a nice, crisp finish to jeans.  Regardless of how old and limp they are, when you starch and iron them they look amazingly new.

I’ve used all of them over the years, Magic Spray Sizing, Niagra, Easy On, you name it, I’ve tried it, but never this Premium Professional one from Faultless.  It’s new to me, and it’s the best yet!  No flaking, absolutely none, and the sprayer doesn’t clog.

It’s a great find, and best of all, it’s under $2.00  Winking smile
