This is simply wonderful...

The dancers are Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powelll, the year is 1940, and this was filmed in ONE unedited camera shot. It is considered by many as one of the best dance scenes ever filmed...

    joe and i watched this twice! it was amazing! i don't know how i feel about thinking things like "the good 'ol days" or things like "that was when they used to know how to do things right". i can remember hearing older people say those types of things when i was younger and thinking they just didn't like 'modern.' maybe that was true i don't know. but i do know that there are many, many things about the 'olden days' that i love and cherish myself. and the dancing and singing from the '40s is one of them.
